To say that Jeremy Goode is good would be an understatement. Goode is a phenomenal athlete who average 28 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 7 steals per game while leading his team to a 24-8 record in the 2004/05 season with Providence Day. Scout.com got a chance to catch up with the 1st team all-state point guard over the weekend and here's the report.

Q:) What were you 2004/05 season statistics?
Jeremy:) "I averaged 28 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 7 steals per game."

Q:) Did you have any goals set before the 2004/05 season? If so, what were they and do you think you met them?
Jeremy:) "I wanted the team to have a winning percentage. I wanted to be the team leader while running the team. My ultimate goal was to win the championship but we came up short."

Q:) What was your teams record?
Jeremy:) "The previous year Providence Day had a losing record. When I transferred there my junior year from Garinger, our record was 24 wins and 8 loses."

Q:) Which colleges are you looking into?
Jeremy:) "It's currently open, many colleges are interested. I'm receiving interest from Charlotte, Auburn, Tennessee, and East Carolina."

Q:) Do you currently have any offers, if so who?
Jeremy:) "All Southern Conference teams have offered; I've also received an offer from Mt. Saint Marys."

Q:) When do you hope to have a decision?
Jeremy:) "I hope to get it out of the way by the end of summer camps or one week into school."

Q:) Some may not know why you transferred from Garinger. What were you looking to add to your game? Do you think you accomplished it? With another year remaining for you; do you feel you need any areas of improvements?
Jeremy:) "I wanted to become a better shooter, defender, and team leader." "Now, I still want to improve my shooting. My free throw percentage was 77% as a junior."

Q:) Are there any summer camps or AAU teams your playing on this summer?
Jeremy:) "Yes, I'll be in ABCD and NBA camps. I'm currently on the Greensboro Gators AAU team."

Q:) Have you taken the SAT yet? What is your current GPA?
Jeremy:) "I've met my requirement on the SAT. Currently, my GPA is a 3.2."

Q:) What is your current height/weight? You have some nice dunks! Any idea of your vertical?
Jeremy:) "I'm 5'10 1/4" at 169 pounds. I led my team with nine dunks and my vertical is 37 1/2 inches."

Saturday, Goode's team; the Greensboro Gators defeated both Kappa Magic Cremson and the Charlotte Nets. Goode had a combined total of 21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 12 steals for those games.
